1960s Backless Blue & Gold Sari Inspired Silk Dress designer-biba I love the bold printA fine silk organza in a beautiful dusty blue with a touch of iridescent purple to the fabric was used to create this stunning halter dress. Taking its cues from the far east, it has an exotic sari feel to it and I love the gold thread used to create the beautiful pattern that runs over its surface and details the waist. During this time period and into the early seventies India held a great fascination as it continued to open to the Western world.
