The dress was made under the creative direction of founder Catherine Holstein. Holstein established Khaite in 2016 as the labels designer, founder and creative director. Khaite is pronounced like Kate and was inspired by Holsteins nickname, Cate. In Greek, Khaite means flowing hair which is a nod to the femininity of the label. This look is actually two pieces.
