Handmade Marcasite Heron Brooch Festival Lucite brooches from the 1940s-60sThis wonderfully detailed marcasite heron was a perfect little upscaled brooch project. I have sewn it onto a black felt background and added an additional fish and small sterling silver branch pin. The three separate elements were made to go together! Wear on its own or pile on with other brooches for a maximalist look.
