I was inspired to create this image based on a photo of my delicate English roses cut from my back yard

As summer dissipates this single rose offered a bit of beauty as we transition into the next season. Truly, the simplest things can be made into a beautiful moment. I embellished this one with a bit of paper and acrylic paint.
