Madama Butterfly Kimono Not Embroidered in-seam pocketsThis one of a kind kimono is made from a grey vintage chirimen silk (crepe) kimono. The kimono features an all over red floralpattern and would have been considered casual. I have taken inspiration from thefloral pattern and embellished the fabric with jeweled butterflies, in seam pockets and a contract red silk lining.
