The pattern includes instructions for strip piecing to piece blocks quickly as well as single block instructions for directional fabric, fussy cutting, scrappy blocks, and anyone who prefers not to strip piece. Instructions are given for a 2 color, 4 color, and scrappy version of the quilt in four different sizes (baby, rectangular throw, square throw,
