Gantry Crane store The amenities building that housedA rusted steel gantry crane spans the siding at Bombala Railway Station, a clearance sign reading 4. 3 metres still fixed to its frame. Below it, an open hopper wagon and a black tank car sit on the tracks, weeds pushing through the ballast around them. The crane was positioned opposite the main platform to serve the goods and livestock traffic that sustained the terminus from 1921 until the station closed on 26 March 1986.
