Dome Interior chiullora faded decor peeling from wallsThe curved underside of the dome rises from a ring of concrete bays, its radial steel framing converging on a central hub, with narrow skylight openings casting pale light to the gravel covered floor below. The structure is the type A285 scalloped concrete silo constructed in 1955, the dominant building on the Mount Russell site. GrainCorp closed the facility in 2007.
