First I hammer texture the thick copper for more interest and also to work harden the copper. Once the hammering is done (one hammer stroke for each "dimple" you see), I handsaw out the pig. After carefully sanding and polishing all the edges so it's comfortable to hold, I bend it into the pig money clip.
