Recieving Issue Type:Framed Engawa at NikkoThe receiving bay at Newington Armament Depot and Nature Reserve sits quiet now, industrial fixtures still in place along the walls. This was the intake point for armaments moving through one of Australia's longest serving naval logistics depots, which handled gunpowder, shells, torpedoes, and depth charges for the Royal Australian Navy from 1921 until its final ammunition operation in December 1999.
