It is believed to be part of the publicity around the installation of pneumatic tyres onto the fire engine following the opening of the Michelin factory in the city in late 1927

although due to the nature of ink and wood the pen will most likely acquire a great pateanem as you use it

The pen is made from Pitch Pine wood with chrome coloured fittings
