Hallway Colour:Raw The building opened as AsahiA long hallway runs the length of the residence at Big Hill Post Office, connecting the living area to the kitchen and dining rooms. Paint peels from the walls in broad strips; light from a doorway at the far end catches dust hanging in the still air. The building served as both post office and postmaster's home from 1 November 1869 until its closure in 1945. Part of the Big Hill Post Office series.
