Lockers Type:Acrylic A cast iron brick pressA long timber bench runs the centre of the locker room at Awaba Colliery, its blue painted edges chipped and worn from decades of use. Metal lockers line both walls, T bar handles still in place, while two large windows at the far end throw diffused light across the tiled back wall. Awaba Colliery operated from 1947 until coal reserves were exhausted in March 2012. Part of the Awaba Colliery series.
