Made predominantly from Negroamaro, it offers deep flavours of dark berries, dried herbs, and hints of spice, all wrapped in a velvety texture. Salice Salentino is located in Puglia in Southern Italy. It typically produces full bodied red wines, possible due to the warm climate where grapes can get really ripe on the vine, developing deep flavour. The wine received DOC status in 1976.
