Thick and sweet but lively, with sappy, sharply delineated red berry and mineral flavors. Still youthfully backward, with rather tough tannins, but likely to reward six to eight years of aging. Relatively unevolved for a wine from Potel, but has the sweet, concentrated fruit to reward patience." Vinous, AG92+ (ST), tasted 3 2004
