a flock of birds flew into the frame for a few seconds which I was able to capture

As some snow fell in the city I took advantage of this and headed to the foothills to photograph

Finding a nice angle I captured the peaks of the canopy as it rose into the threatening clouds of the day

As an iceberg melts it starts to change its disposition in the water based on the mass and how it is balanced. In this iceberg you can see some of the results of that shifting with the line of difference between the top and bottom. At that point there is also the clear ice which will sometimes happen at the water line or in this case where the water line was recently.
