The album that went by the title Halfnelson in 1970, was basically the first Sparks album. They are noted for Russell Maels distinctive wide ranging voice and Ron Maels intricate and rhythmic keyboard playing style. This album is produced by Todd Rundgren, and engineered by James Lowe, former singer of 60s Psychedelic band The Electric
