So on an evening where there were clear skies I headed out to photograph

As I was walking the Airport Dike Trail

The forecast was for some active skies overnight with the Northern Lights and with the clear skies the past few days it was a must to go and check them out

Well I think this image pretty much sums up an early August afternoon in Juneau. It was a full afternoon of cruise ships, and the float planes were coming back from excursions during the day. Yes it does rain in Juneau, but you also get great days like this to enjoy the Juneau and the surrounding area.
