We requested this one be equipped with a K&K pure mini pickup. It sounds natural and full when plugged in. This guitar also has a checked finish without any dings or dents added (relicing). Being a satin finish, this checking adds character in an elegantly subtle way. Being a Spruce and Mahogany combination, this guitar has both excellent brightness articulation and a warm, meaty
