Double Barrel BOYD (Buzzard's Roost Bourbon) hoppy what it tastes like: ThisA few short weeks ago we released Double Barrel BOYD Rye and today we are releasing its sibling of sorts: Double Barrel BOYD Bourbon. Both iterations first spent 12 months in cognac barrels, layering notes of raisin and anise onto an Imperial Stout base. A subsequent trip to secondary barrels resulted in two deliciously different beasts. Whereas the rye version was quite spirit forward, this newest addition picked up lots of oak characteristics during
