Charles II Period Oak Serving Table Etc. The underside of the lidA Charles II period oak side (or serving) table with paneled front rail. The two center panels of this rail have a raised prism shape at the center while the two end panels have a small dome in the center. These panels are framed by molded rails. The boldly turned baluster shaped legs are connected by box stretchers all around. The plain rail on the back indicates this table was made to use against a wall.
